My Journey
My introduction to Pilates started whilst studying for my BA Hons at The International Circus and Theatre School in London .
Pilates was "life changing, body transforming" and critical for my rehabilitation. after a grueling physically demanding training program..
After years of performing professionally I decided to become a Pilates Instructor. and over the years have connected with and formed a small team of equally passionate and fully accredited, certified Pilates and wellness professionals..

Our sessions provide for individual- personal, private, and group sessions.
Due to our central location, we provide our services for privates, one-to-one sessions, small groups, and "much in demand", in house Corporate Sessions, . where we bring our services to your office. and or, your home..
Maybe you have a weekend free? and are looking for a taster workshop for a group of friends.?
We can cover it - depending on location, and even look into space hire to cover it..
Corporate Classes
Our corporate sessions have been growing over the years despite a short spell when we were under house arrest and unable for face-to-face sessions so then we got on board the Zoom in your room and went Virtual.!
Our sessions with our clients then were so important, and essential to keep up morale and see each other, to connect, and work out together while creating a wellness routine for ourselves..
The Virtual Pilates sessions are available subject to availability and pre-booking for small groups if you prefer. Otherwise, we shall come to you!

Our Pilates instructor's style of teaching and training are from professional, accredited & certified training bodies.. We teach both contemporary and classical. Pilates.. Our sessions are based on the fundamental 7 core principles of Pilates and the mechanics of movement..
During the class setup, the equipment provided are: Magic circles, Blocks, Balls, Resistance bands, and Foam rollers.. This is to enhance your workout but also, for safe practice..
The equipment sets a new challenge and also keeps our clients discovering a new workout, which keeps the class engaging, challenging, whilst showing, variety and delivering a fun workout. No need for a reformer machine.!
The sessions also cover somatic stretching, elements of the Feldenkrais technique, breathing exercises, and myofascial massage with massage balls and foam rollers. We offer deep stretching techniques for different muscle groups. - great for athletes and or physically demanding training or simply just to release tension from everyday stress.

The Group classes are usually mixed ability with modifications given to the client for those working as a total beginner to the more advanced..
All exercises are to be executed in a safe and controlled manner.
All Clients will need to sign a PAR-Q form for screening before attending class. and if necessary if you have underlining issues, we can offer a 1-2-1 session if we think suitable depending on your health, age, injury and the severity of - providing you have clearance from a Doctor, Physio or Medical professional

Group Classes - 45 MIN -1 hr
Small groups min 8 to 12 per session - mixed level to the more advanced student.
If you are a total beginner it's advisable to book a private session before attending this class. but not compulsory.

Privates - 1-2-1 - 1 HR - This session is perfect for new starters and those looking to advance, especially with personal goals and/or physical injuries or, just willing to have a bespoke program eg: total beginners to the advanced level.. It's an Individualised bespoke program..
This session will require an initial - 15-minute consultation followed by a 1hr workout.
In the consultation, we will cover briefly your fitness level, and injury history, or current issues and discuss specific goal setting and what you are looking to gain from the session.
For clients looking for rehabilitation after injuries then we will need to have you approved by your doctor or physio to go ahead and we ask for any relevant medical history to ensure your needs are met. and a session where specific exercises and a program that's right for you.
Private sessions are great if you are looking for a more holistic approach to your training regime., a weekly program will be put together specific to your requirements. and schedule.
Duets 2-2-1 - Great for specific goal-setters too!

I've been attending Pilates sessions with Grainne for a couple of years and I'm very happy with her classes. This is no bootcamp (thankfully), but sessions are always challenging and varied, often introducing various equipment to keep things interesting. Grainne takes us through the difficulty levels with clear instructions and allows us to find our own level. As a 50+ woman with MS, I feel very comfortable and not in the least bit intimidated in her classes, and the small class size ensures individual attention when required.
She is always cheerful and light hearted and is truly a joy. And she's not even paying me to say that.

Grainne is delightful, so as soon as you arrive at the class you are cheered up, and it all goes with a swing.
She is absolutely professional so each person is asked, on arrival, if they have any problems or injuries, and if so each is told not to do particular exercises, or to adapt them in a certain way. During the class each student is reminded how to do /change the particular exercise to avoid any problems. At the beginning of the next class Grainne will remember each problem/ injury, and ask if the student is better.
During the class, Grainne will seek to ensure that each of the students is doing the exercise correctly, and will assist them individually if not. She is very careful to check that no-one is risking injury while working.
